Brandt Group of Companies is currently seeking an Engineering Manager for Agricultural Products in Regina, SK.  

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing, directing, and providing sound, logical, and effective leadership to multiple design platforms in the execution of selected new product development projects and the maintenance of existing products.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Direct Product development at initial design phase including:
         - Design concept
         - Regulatory compliance
         - Testing methodology.
2. Direct and guide standardized approach to Design of assigned new products focusing on Performance of product, Design for Manufacturability, Serviceability, Reliability, Affordability, etc.
3. Work within design teams on assigned products from concept through prototype testing to ensure design meets scope and development targets.
4. Ensure appropriate and disciplined approach to design activity is followed.
5. Field research as required.  Business travel will be an occasional requirement.
6. Teach and mentor design engineers and technologists and recommend skills training and process improvement where necessary.
7. Plan resources and schedule work effectively within the Department. Act to maintain schedule adherence.
8. Design and Development budgeting, scheduling, and related planning Activities.
9. Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
       - Senior Engineering experience in product design
       - Motivational leadership skills
       - Experience in design and 3D CAD
       - Logical, consistent, and effective approach to problem-solving, including risk mitigation in design
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
