Facility: Mental Health & Addiction Services
Job Description: The incumbent will provide pediatric Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to a primarily early child population ages 0-5.  These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education.  The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The incumbent in this position directly reports to the Supervisor of Child and Youth program or his/her designate.

Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Ability to develop educational resources and presentations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of professionals, public agencies and families
Ability to make sound judgments regarding client care
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Commitment to continuing professional development
Demonstrate responsible decision making through the application of knowledge, critical thinking and sound clinical, legal and ethical practice
Demonstrated ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives, and effect innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
