Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Casual Clerk/Cashier at our Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Big River,Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Wine, Spirits, and Beer Team Leader responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a
difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility
Maintain a clean and well merchandised area including but not limited to dusting displays, washing shelves and bottles, sweeping, mopping;
perform exterior cleaning as assigned
Suggestively sell add on products in addition to liquor as store will feature confectionary and associated hardware items
Stock, arrange and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, stock beer coolers and set up displays (stocking shelves may involve carrying large
quantities of wine, spirits, and beer and, involves accessing products in the back-room storage area)
Be familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations in terms of
sales of wine, spirits, and beer
Operate electronic cash register and other electronic devices and process sales.
Receive merchandise as required
Perform opening and closing procedures as required
Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements and lead by example
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience at all points of contact
Perform other duties as assigned
