Description

The Supply Chain Support acts as the link between Malt Supply Chain and the vendors we work with to provide world class supply chain solutions. You will review, verify, and process invoices from vendors, ensuring we adhere to proper record-keeping and record filing including cross checking billed costs and invoices to ensure they match contracted or public rates. This role works across multiple departments ensuring vendor invoices are processed on time so they can be paid within terms.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Maintain constructive relationships with vendors, ensuring they are kept informed of required billing and contact information.
- Work with the internal team, including operations, supply chain, and procurement to validate vendor agreements match the invoices received.
- Proactively report issues raised by vendors to the appropriate contact.
- Implement and maintain strategies to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Proactively report invoice issues for dispute or other resolution.
- Support supply chain budget reviews and month-end activities and audits.
- Identify and support process improvement initiatives

Skills and Qualifications / Master we are looking for?
- You have 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain or administrative role. (Grain industry experience preferred)
- Excellent analytical and team work skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and interact with functional departments, plants, and suppliers.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, Opera, and MS Office
