The Public Guardian and Trustee is seeking a confident, ethical, and well-organized individual for an Assistant Trust Officer position in the Adult Services unit. The Adult Services unit manages the financial affairs for adults where no one else has been appointed.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining client files, preparing a diverse variety of correspondence and legal documents, locating and securing assets of clients such as real property and bank accounts, as well as determining and making applications for appropriate health, social and pension benefits.
Our candidate of choice will have knowledge of office and filing procedures, the knowledge and ability to prepare and compose correspondence using clear and concise language and have the ability and knowledge to prepare legal documents. You must be able to reference, interpret and apply regulations and policies as required.
