Are you a visionary leader passionate about driving innovation and applied research?

We are currently seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic direction and lead our Colleges Centre of Sustainable Innovation while overseeing all aspects of applied research services and entrepreneurship development in Estevan.

Reporting to the President & CEO, the position will mentor cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with industries, business partners, stakeholders and lifelong learners by championing sustainability, innovation, excellence, industry-focus, accountability, collaboration, and teamwork. The position works collaboratively across all aspects of the institution, as well as with current and future strategic partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years experience leading research and grant administration, managing teams, engaging stakeholders, strategizing, and finalizing contracts and agreements for applied research.
University degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Working understanding of performance management, project management, and reporting systems/processes.
Proficiency in financial planning, operational strategies, and strategic management.
Superior communication skills.
Experience in creating and presenting business cases/proposals.
Extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of energy and agriculture.
