Job Description: Reporting to the Executive Assistant of the Executive Director of Governance and Policy, the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director of Governance and Policy provides confidential administrative support and ensures that efficient administrative processes are in place to support the work of the Executive Director. The Administrative Assistant also works with the Policy and Regulatory Affairs Teams in a collaborative manner and provides accurate, timely and efficient execution of administrative support functions.
The successful candidate has a high degree of initiative and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

Completion of Grade XII supplemented by a recognized business course
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
3 - 5 years of experience working in a senior administrative assistant role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to adapt to frequent change and work under pressure
Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the organization, including its governance and organizational structure and relationships
Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships through respectful and professional interactions
Be self-directed and confident in applying independent judgment
Committed to quality and safety, striving towards an environment of zero harm
Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
