Description

Travel within Canada with some routes into US;
Operate either a Class I vehicle.  Class 1 vehicles are semi-trailer trucks;
Oversee cargo handling and load securement, including equipment preparation and the application of safe practices;
Perform inspections on operated equipment and load, ensuring safety and road worthiness;
Comply with applicable legislation concerning safe operation, carriage of goods, hours of service, occupational health and safety, the transportation of dangerous goods, customs and immigration and weights and dimensions;  
Keep records and maintains required documentation, including driver logbook, bills of lading, etc., by manual or electronic means.
