The Service Writer creates, manages, and invoices all customer and internal work orders as well as administers, processes, and authorizes warranty claims based on the manufacturer / suppliers criteria. The position works closely with the CWHC Service Department Lead(s) and dealer After Sales Department to coordinate and organize Service Department administrative duties to assist in growing dealership Service Department profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Accurately completes documents required to process work order and claims
Ensures that amounts billed to customers are correct & follows up with customers to ensure timely payment.
Reviews technician time and ensures all time is approved my management.
Reviews all work orders and prepares them for final review by the Service Manager.
Responsible for the verification of manufacturer or suppliers criteria for warranty.

Requirements:
5+ years job-related experience, highly desired.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail & well organized.

Must be eligible to work in Canada.
