Facility: ADDICTIONS SERVICES
Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Mental Health and Addiction Services for Network 8. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day client service delivery (development, implementation, delivery and evaluation) of Adult Mental Health and Addictions services for the for Networks 5-8.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to accurately assess addictions and/or addiction related issues and make appropriate recovery plans and referrals
Ability to promote healthy lifestyles in urban and rural settings and with diverse populations.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Training, Education, Experience or other Requirements:
Baccalaureate Degree in Human Services such as psychology or social work.
Knowledge in the areas of Family Violence, New Choices for Men Program, Depression Support, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized
Anxiety and Phobias, Etc.
Competencies in relation to the assessment and treatment of personality and cognitive disorders; program development and delivery.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Job Knowledge:
University training in Human Services, knowledge of human behaviour, group dynamics, how to present and explain materials, lead discussions, etc.
Counselling skills and knowledge base of group work and individual therapy.
Clinical Skills training and knowledge of treating mood disorders, generalized anxiety and phobias, theory of abuse, factors leading to and perpetrating abouse.
Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act.
