Essential Job Functions
1. Perform and oversee the training, coaching, and mentoring of all Parts and Mainline Welders on all shifts to ensure they maintain a high standard
2. Hold regular meetings with relevant team members and leadership to identify areas the Weld department can improve on efficiencies
3. Adjust and monitor hours of work to ensure all three production shifts are supported adequately
4. Ensure all Welders adhere to safety policies and procedure
5. Ensure that all welds produced are to Schulte Quality Standard
6. Ensure jigs are used, maintained and kept in good condition. All jig issues are to be reported to the Production Supervisor or R&D.
7. Meet regularly with the Human Resources Manager to provide updates on progress and findings.
8. Conduct bi-weekly evaluations on every welder
9. Participate in weekly meeting with Production Supervisor, Quality and HR to identify weaknesses and action plans
10. Attend training as directed by management.
Must be a Red Seal Welder.
