Description

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director and to ensure the office of Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. provides services in an effective, efficient and professional manner. Maintain a record of Executive Director Itinerary. File and retrieve documents, records and reports Board Meetings. Receive all mail on behalf of the Executive Director. Assist with planning/organizing meeting and/or special events for Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. (including booking Catering services and location selection). Submit a monthly report to the Executive Director. Prepare, proof read and edit all outgoing correspondence, letters, memorandum, newsletters etc. Other Duties as per Executive Director. Must be mature and experienced for this position. Travel will be required.  Class 5 with reliable vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years in a specialized business training program with three (3) years experience in a Senior Administrative role.
-  Ability to use a variety of software programs, customized databases, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
-  Knowledge of First Nation culture and language.
-  Ability to develop and establish a trusting and strong working relationship with staff, clientele, First Nation communities, and TCFS Inc. interest groups.
-  Effective written and oral communication skills, computer literate.
-  Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required.
-  Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers License and Vulnerable Sector Check
