Here at The Atlas Hotel, our passion is to become Reginas favorite hotel. We are independent, locally-owned, homegrown, and pride ourselves on investing in our property, fostering an amazing team, and creating exceptional experiences for our guests.
We are looking to add 2 part time, permanent, Guest Ambassador to our team who are flexible and available to work day and evening shift, as well of weekends. The successful candidate must be able to speak, read and write English fluently as well as have at least 1 year of customer service experience. Previous hotel experience is considered an asset, but is not required.
A day in the life of our Guest Ambassador's include:
*Emitting a fun, professional, and welcoming energy while interacting with our guests.
*Taking reservations in a timely manner and in accordance with our brand standards the most important part of this role, and a great way to flex your communication skills.
*Answering a lot of phone calls and email inquiries which can honestly sometimes feel overwhelming but the more you do it, the easier it will be to handle.
*Signing for most deliveries that come through the Front Desk. Not the most exciting part of the job but is very important to keep our hotel running smoothly.
*Responding and following up to guest complaints or concerns, and rectifying these when they do happen to arise.
*Completing general filing and some administrative work. We know that it may sound boring, but it will be a nice change of pace after going through lots of check-ins or check-outs.
