Description

Responsibilities, Main duties of the job, Business Development - Responsibilities include  - Recruitment and Placement Services, Temporary Documents, Direct PNP, Advertising, AIPP, Student Services, Assessment Services, Entrepreneur services, LMIA Services, etc. Data entry into government and company forms, as well as reports, etc.; Client services (answering questions, sending reports, providing instructions and explanations, etc.); Creating and modifying documents; Immigration Reporting (internal/external, communication with both employers/employees upon landing and during their status as Foreign Nationals, communication with co-workers in the IMP office as well as other Mercan Group office, all tasks listed in the training hand booknote-processes change based on government programs and you will be expected to review/propose changes and adapt; Meeting and greeting clients and visitors; Performing general clerical duties (including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing); Maintaining records of all transactions; invoicing; Researching items and target markets; assisting with marketing and promotional material; Updating the website; Answering telephones and making follow-up calls; developing newsletters and other promotional material; Cross training on accounts including Sage and Quickbooks, etc  Other duties as assigned.
Experience/skills required of the job: High level of computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and Acrobat a must), good typing skills, ability to work independently, pay close attention to details (a must), sales and customer services, cultural sensitivity, Business Degree or Certificate, personable and confident on the telephone and in person. Training offered to worker (Orientation, licensing, testing, etc): Company orientation; business development courses available upon request, ie. computer courses.
Number of hours per week: this a tentative schedule
Monday to Friday 830am5pm.
