Join our creative team in Humboldt. Remote work or combination may be considered for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
Design signage, print products, banners, promotional products
Meet with customers and provide professional expert to brand their products, companies or services
Connect with customers to build a network and cultivate repeat business
Minimum 2-3 years of design experience, ideally in print and signage. Advanced experience in graphics programs including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and CorelDraw is required.
An intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word will be an asset.
You must be able to balance creativity with speed and efficiency in your designs. A solid foundation and knowledge of typography and styling of documents for Print and Signs is required.
Attention to detail is essential. You will need to be organized as you will have several projects on the go. You are extremely conscientious and particular about your work. You understand efficiency and minimizing waste in a production environment.
- Post Secondary Graphic Design based Degree or Diploma (or equivalent experience)
- Min. 2-3 years of experience-preferably sign, print shop or agency
- Recent portfolio of work including print, sign and presentation material
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, CorelDraw
- Reading and understanding job requirements on work orders (electronic)
- Handle multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
- Quality control

- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Spelling, punctuation and grammar are vital.
