Dance City is growing (multiple positions available)! We're looking for positive, motivated, energetic and passionate dance educators to join our teaching team for the upcoming season. We have a beautiful NEW 14,000 sq ft 3-floor building with 4 studios, were recently named Saskatchewan's Dance Studio of the Year for 2022 and were named 2021 TOP STUDIO in Canada at The VIEW Dance Challenge.
Dance City is Saskatchewan's premier dance studio that focuses on excellence in everything that it does. This accessible and professionally run studio has a top-notch, qualified faculty that genuinely cares about the success of each dancer. Dance City offers a variety of programs to suit the needs of dancers of all ages, abilities and desires and offers a friendly, inclusive and supportive atmosphere for its dancers and their families.
We offer over 100 classes, seven days a week for over 700 dedicated dancers aged 18 months to adult years that we're privileged to work with! We have five dance programs including Foundations (pre-school), Progressions (recreational), Adult, Competitive and Pre-professional. We offer classes in RAD ballet, ADAPT and CDTA tap, ADAPT jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics (Acrobatic Arts). Our season runs from September to June each year, and we offer a variety of summer programs in July and August. More information about our studio can be found at reginadancecity.ca.
We have a wide range of class styles, ages and levels available. As a bonus, you'll get to work with an awesome group of coworkers too! Program Director positions are available! Ideal candidates for our competitive and pre-pro programs will have a RAD, ADAPT, CDTA and/or Acrobatic Arts teaching certifications. Previous experience in preparing students for dance examinations and choreography is required. Ideal candidates for our other programs should have a true passion for dance and children... certifications would be a bonus but not required.
