Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Communications & Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the organizations internal and external communications, marketing, and online and social media strategies. This includes the development and implementation of communications strategies, plans, and tactics that support Creative Saskatchewans strategic goals and objectives.
Responsibilities may include:
- Develop, write, and edit communications materials, including news releases, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content.
- Promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate channels, including social media
- Track metrics and create reports.
- Execute the current Creative Saskatchewan communications and marketing strategy.
- Develop tactical communications and marketing plans to support the larger goals and objectives as needed.
- Maintain website to ensure information is accurate and accessible to stakeholders.
- Coordinate communications with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Respond to media inquiries and perform media outreach as required.
- Manage the documentation of, and response, to enquiries.
- Coordinate Freedom of Information Protection and Privacy (FOIP) requests.
- Media monitoring to assist in identifying trends across creative industries.
- Facilitate efficient, positive, and expeditious internal communications between departments.
- Review and edit written internal communication and assist with messaging at all levels.
- Work with Creative Saskatchewans Agency of Record to execute marketing and communications tactics.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a crises communications plan.
