Heartland Livestock Services located in Swift Curent, SK is looking for Fall run employees to work fulltime/part-time hours, potential of lots of overtime for the fall months. Heartland Livestock is looking for Yard Helpers, Penners, Sorter and Labourers.
Responsibilities of these positions include:
- Penning cattle
- Sorting, hauling bales
- Feeding cattle
Candidates will be expected to work outdoors with cattle in a fast paced auction market atmosphere. Candidates must be able bodied and must be open to work 8 hours or longer shifts when necessary to complete an auction sale. Candidates must have experience working with cattle.
Specific Skills
- Feed and tend animals
- Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
