Who we are
Bodnarus Auctioneering INC is an auctioning business owned by Frederick Bodnarus who has been in the auctioning business for the majority of his life. We take consignments from people who would like us to auction off their items. We take these items and put them into lots which get pictured, described and then uploaded to our auctioning server we use. These auctions happen weekly with up to 900 lots for each auction. Estate auctions and Farm auctions are when we sell off site; the lotting and picturing takes place at these off site locations.
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic auction assistant who would help gather up lots, describe the items, picture them, and organize these according to consignment. Help customers by bringing to them the items they won from the warehouse. Help customers that want to look at the items on site.
Who We Are Looking For
-Must be able to describe items that come in including collectibles (priority to those that apply that have experience dealing with auctions).
-Able to learn to operate a camera and setup shots for items to help show the quality of the items.
-Ability to lift up to 40lbs
-Able to work in a team setting as well as individually
-Take direction well and eager to learn
-Able to help find a number of lots for customer pickups
-Help showing items to customers and answering questions they may have
-Trustworthy
Job Details
-Work hours are a minimum of 28 hours each week Tuesday Friday from 9am 4pm (if more hours are wanted then this can be arranged)
-Pay is scaled according to experience (13-15/hour)
-Some out of town work
-Contract work
