The City of Moose Jaw is seeking individuals to serve as Summer Play Leaders for the Parks & Recreation Department.  Reporting to the Recreation Program Supervisor, the Summer Play Leaders are responsible for:
The Coordination, Planning , developing and instruction of safe, accessible and fun activities/programs that stimulate creativeness, sportsmanship and leadership among participants; to encourage participation; to inspect facility and equipment to ensure safety; preparing daily/ weekly activity reports, attendance reports, damage reports and accident/incident reports; maintain discipline of participants and conducting yourself in such a manner as to enhance the prestige and dignity of your position.
If you have the following qualifications or skills, this opportunity may be of interest to you:
-    High school students aged 16 or older
-    Post Secondary education focused in Early Childhood, Education, Kinesiology, Recreation, or other related programs
-    Ability to pass vulnerable persons Criminal Record Check
-    Standard First Aid and CPR-C
-    High-Five Principles of Healthy Childhood Development (Online course)
-    Play Leadership course (SPRA)
-       Valid Class 5 Driver's Licese,
-    Able to plan, organize, schedule, instruct and evaluate program activities
-    Able to interact courteously with program participants, parents and the general public
