CCM Construction Ltd. based in Sidney, BC is looking for qualified Superintendents for commercial projects throughout Western Canada, primarily the province of Saskatchewan. Job Description: Coordinates and supervises all construction activities including subcontractors, foreman and our own crew. Understands project plans and specifications. Ability to maintain schedule and meet critical dates. Ensuring materials are ordered and trades are coordinated with enough lead time so there is no interruption to progress on site or schedule Responsible for meeting budget and pricing of Owner requested changes. Maintains positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and other employees Ensures all site personnel are adhering to the company safety policy. Rectify job site hazards immediately. Monitoring employee and subcontractor performance including quality control. Manage all onsite administration activities including; time keeping, progress reports, purchase orders, and change orders Review weekly, schedule, safety, cost, quality with project team. Communicate any challenges or issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner. Maintains an organized job site, including construction office. Qualifications: Technical training accompanied by a Construction Trade Certification First Aid/CPR Certificate and WHIMIS training Minimum 3 years of construction supervisory experience on multi-million dollar commercial projects Strong leadership skills, organization and communication skills Basic computer skills (email, word, excel, ms project) |
