  Job Title: Receptionist Clerk  
  Location: SAKIMAY FIRST NATION  
  Details: SAKIMAY FIRST NATIONS IS SEEKING AN ENTHUSIASTIC AND DEDICATED TEAM PLAYER TO PROVIDE OFFICE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE CENTRE.

This is permanent full time administrative support position with three (3) month probationary period. The position is the clerical support to the Administration staff at the Sakimay First Nation Administrative Centre, supervised by Director of Operations. The Receptionist Clerk shall be responsible for recording & taking messages, answering & operating the phone system, maintaining the daily itinerary of staff, mail & fax distribution, maintaining central filing system, as well as other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
The Receptionist Clerk must:
1. Possess considerable knowledge of effective office procedures, techniques; file maintenance & data processing potential
2. Have at least six (6) months experience in general office procedures
3. Have ability to type minimum 30 wpm with basic understanding of operation of computer and software
4. Be familiar with basic office equipment - fax, photocopier, postage etc
5. Be able to maintain central filing system
6. Have sound knowledge of how First Nations administration is operated
7. Have excellent communication skills dealing with the general public - Chief and Council, subsidiary entities, fellow employees &, most importantly, the general band membership
8. Possess ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision
9. Be well organized, punctual, dependable & reliable and ensure confidential matters remain confidential
10. Submit to pre-employment drug screening upon application
11. Submit 3 three (3) references with application
