	Job Title:	Manager, Business Projects

	Details:	The Co-operators is looking for a Manager, Business Projects in our Quality and Implementation department in Regina Reporting to the Senior Manager, Implementation and Operational Support within the Quality and Implementation area, this role is responsible for the coordination, delivery and communication associated with a portfolio of projects that are critical to the organizations on-going success.  In addition, this position manages a team of Support Analysts responsible for assisting the various operational units towards successful outcomes. Responsibilities Responsible for people management including recruitment, selection, performance management, time and attendance tracking. Enrich employees through mentoring, coaching and enhancing engagement. Provide team leadership regarding goal setting, performance management, and implementing change. Responsible for the ownership of the units activities to achieve expected customer and corporate results which includes policy and procedure compliance and development; budget reporting and management; prioritizing and planning; problem resolution; workflow monitoring; and client interactions Responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships through the delivery of project and operational  services and through the identification of opportunities to increase efficiencies Create, maintain and deliver on detailed project plans that govern the implementation, prioritization and resource allocation associated with projects and initiatives. Coordinate project plans with other stakeholders and departments. Your Qualifications Project Management designation or working towards supplemented by at least one year of direct project management experience Proven track record of supervising, leading, coaching, and developing a team of technical  focused employees Broad understanding of life insurance products.
