Reporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources, this position is responsible for general office administration and providing confidential administrative support to the Human Resources unit.
You will also coordinate, organize, prepare and scan all employee correspondence to imaging and maintain employee personnel files.
Coordinate the budget with the Executive Director and HR management team.
Code all unit invoices, track expenditures and follow up on discrepancies to recommend appropriate course of action.
Attend, transcribe, and distribute HR meeting, Diversity and Inclusion committee meeting and other meeting minutes as required.
Schedule meetings and maintain the calendar of the Executive Director, Human Resources and when necessary make appropriate travel accommodations/arrangements for HR management team.
Maintain list and disperse Employee Recognition awards, including planning Long Service Banquet and maintaining the retirement gift program.
Enter, maintain and report on data within the Human Resource Information System.
Respond to inquiries from staff.
Create presentations, format letters and draft correspondence.
Other duties as assigned.
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through completion of a certificate in Business Administration Office Education with extensive experience in progressively responsible clerical/administrative work.
