Description

Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Accounting, this position contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of the Corporations corporate support requirements and governance framework including accounting and reporting, budgeting, and planning. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day processing of all finance and accounting activities, participate in and lead the accounting, budgeting, cash management and forecasting activities, participate in and assist in production of the financial statements and financial reporting and analysis for the Corporation, assist in the year-end audit, support the oversight and reporting of corporate compliance, and communicate and manage relationships with stakeholders and service suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration or commerce. A designation or enrollment in CPA would be an asset, and three years of related experience in accounting, finance, and/or risk management. Core competencies focus on initiative, analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, relationship building, and problem solving skills. An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
