Walker Projects Inc. is a consulting Engineering & Project Management firm. We are searching for a Proposal Writer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a challenging position within a professional services organization.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the proposal process from start to finish through:
The development of strategic messaging through writing, editing, submission & final debriefing.
Organizing & in some cases leading proposal teams, including scheduling, review meetings, & directing content owners.
Formatting documents to develop visually appealing layouts that are clear, client-focused & eye-catching. Editing content for consistency, grammar, & key messaging. Producing final print, digital documents & arrange for on-time delivery.
Support/participate in corporate & external activities related to Marketing, Promotion & Events through:
Collaboration with team members to drive goals & business development.
Identifying/sourcing Business Development leads & opportunities.
Act as social media specialist by managing content & presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). Develop content updates & ensure information is managed.
Managing participation & coordinating detail of industry events (SUMA, ACEC). Sourcing appropriate networking & volunteer events to build the business.
Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in marketing or business from a recognized college/university. An Engineering/Technical background is an asset. A minimum of one-year of proposal writing or similar marketing experience.
