Currently accepting applications for: QUALITY CONTROL LAB TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
-Gathering water, oil and acid samples (includes some lifting up to 50lbs)
-Performing laboratory testing
-Onsite quality control
-Chemical inventory management
-New chemical integration testing
-Chemical testing and quality control supplies management
-Prepares sample and completes relevant shipping documentation
-Preparation of laboratory reports for submission to internal/external clients
-Compliance with all company and regulatory HS &E, Quality and IT standards of operation
-Wear personnel protective equipment (PPE) as required
-Review of lab risk assessments and job safety analysis prior to all jobs
-Participation in training, excels in service delivery
-Monitor the operations, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
-Work includes use of specialized laboratory equipment
-Perform analysis in a timely and accurate manner
-Maintain clean and orderly working environment
-Calibrating and maintaining calibration records on testing equipment
Qualifications:
-Chemical Engineering Diploma or equivalent
-Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology and procedures required of the position
-Decision making, performance of varied and complex tasks
-Self-motivated and have the initiative to fully perform the duties of this position independently
-Valid Class 5 drivers license and satisfactory driving record
-Good English communication skills
