Overview:
Greet customers and help them with all inquiries (directs as appropriate), order parts and accessories/products, answer questions and help troubleshoot via telephone. Monitor inventory and update the retail purchasing area. Provide/retrieve parts for the Service Department as identified in the work orders.
Responsible for all aspects of parts inventory control including replenishing, stocking, cycle counting, and inventory control.
General Duties & Responsibilities
Assists in retail customer parts purchases;
Ensure all customer inquiries are handled quickly and accurately, process in-house and customer orders
Provide substitute parts information for obsolete/upgraded parts based
Discuss with service manager and order required shop parts
Knowledge of the location of all parts and some knowledge of the uses and installation techniques
Replenish and stock parts and retail purchasing inventory, including shipping and receiving
Follow-up on back orders to determine status of orders and provide answers to customers/service department
Look up pricing of parts for customers /or service department; verify prices and enter orders into computer
Purchases all parts and accessories for the department and stay informed of all the latest innovations
Liaise between dealership and suppliers
Responsible for all aspects of inventory control including replenishing, stocking, cycle counting and physical inventory
Marketing parts and accessories
Conduct year-end inventory
Receive payments for service work orders from customers
Maintain a clean and safe retail area, show room and storage areas
Other duties as assigned
Education
High School diploma, or equivalent
Parts technician certificate or diploma
Experience
Previous RV experience preferred or experience with RV's
2 years experience in a parts department
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Saskatchewan driver's license
