Description

Building a culture of leadership development is front of mind for SGI and we believe that leaders are developed through all levels of the organization.  Leadership culture development will transform how we work with customers, partners and each other.  We're aiming for a culture that focuses on new strengths, balanced with some of what's always been important to our success.  The successful individual for this role will be a team player that buys into this mindset and embodies SGI's vision, missions and values.

The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the development, delivery and evaluation of recruitment and talent acquisition strategy and oversee associated programs, policies and procedures for SGI and SGI CANADA.  In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) strategy, including providing expertise and guidance to management.  You will also provide advice, guidance and support to management; negotiate and manage contracts with vendors for recruitment services; and oversee transforming the employment screening process.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.  Candidates should have at least ten years' experience comprised of six years leadership experience within human resources and four years' experience in talent acquisition best practices.  Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
