French Language Advocate
Contract Based
A contract with Holy Family serving both Holy Family and South East Cornerstone School Divisions for an external consultant to:
Recruit and retain French immersion teachers
Create a promotional package for recruiting teachers to the Estevan K-12 French Immersion program
Develop a program that supports retaining French immersion teachers in the Estevan area
Review current French immersion curricular resources and complete a needs assessment with respect to French immersion resources in Estevan
Contract Term: Project work to be completed by June 30, 2021
Contract Rate: Competitive Rates will be Negotiated
Experience and Skills Required:
Experience in a French immersion school, will be considered an asset
Bachelor of Education Degree, will be considered an asset
Baccalaureate Degree, will be considered an asset
Demonstrated proficiency with Technology
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work off site, in own office space
Must have strong communication and collaborative skills
Must have strong marketing skills for the purpose of recruitment of French immersion teachers
Must be able to conduct French curriculum and resource based research
Must have the knowledge of and ability to create strong networks throughout Canada in the area of French immersion
Must be able to conduct research of local area to market the community and lifestyle within the French immersion school areas for the purpose of recruiting and retaining French immersion teachers
The contract between the school divisions and the consultant will address confidentiality and ownership of materials and research. Research and materials produced with become property of Holy Family and South East Cornerstone, exclusively as per contract details.
