Description

You will work in cross-functional teams in close cooperation with developers, product managers, business stakeholders and other designers. Teams work with end-to-end responsibility for solving meaningful customer problems - from ideating through prototyping and user testing to bringing features live and checking their performance.

Where your expertise is needed
Act as a customer advocate throughout the process while being a great partner to our product managers
Discover opportunities to make the Vendasta platform more satisfying and usable. Participate in user research along the customer journey to discover pain points and needs
Collaborate with your cross-functional team to define the problem space and what success looks like. Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and simplify the user journey
Design inspiring human-centered solutions. Bring concepts to life by iteratively creating prototypes at all levels of fidelity
Execute with your cross functional team on proposed solutions in an agile environment where teams look to deliver value in 2 week sprints
Measure success and look for opportunities to iterate or pivot if the desired outcome isnt met

What we are looking for
Ability to conduct ongoing user testing and research throughout the design process
You have knowledge of qualitative or quantitative research methodologies
You communicate clearly and convincingly with the ability to share insights, and context behind your designs
Knows the value of a design framework and strives for consistency
Motivated by feedback, but able to take criticism
Understanding of agile software development, with a demonstrated ability to break down large epics into releasable milestones
Can demonstrate a strong level of interaction design and is proficient with either Adobe XD or Figma
