Responsibilities:
- Leads the design and strategy for all IT Infrastructure related systems and services
- IT asset, lifecycle, workflow, patch and process management
- Budgeting cycle and contribution to the 1, 3 and 5 year ST budget forecast with the other Leads and ST Manager
- Contributing member of a multi-pillar ST team with collaboration across ST disciplines
- Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and makes recommendations on design, implementation, and migration paths for ST infrastructure and services
- Aids in plans for the improvement, growth and overall implementation security initiatives as directed by the Enterprise Risk and Security Advisor
- Keeps current with the latest technologies, providing advanced advice for solutions to specific problems
- Provides oversight of requests for proposal, quotation, and purchasing of CLS hardware
- Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for ST infrastructure spending and initiatives
- Supervises and mentors their functional area, participating in the recruitment, selection, performance management, and professional development according to CLS policies and guidelines
- Responsible for Change Management process as it pertains to the infrastructure team
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent, relevant IT related experience
- A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- A minimum of 5 years in an IT Infrastructure related administrator/analyst role
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing IT considered an asset
- Certifications/Experience in ITIL, Change Management and other related IT courses also an asset
