Siemens Transportation Group Inc., has an immediate opening for a Driver Trainer. If youre looking to make a greater impact

Responsibilities
- Ability to demonstrate and instruct proper driving form and to conduct road tests
- Coordinate training as it pertains to operational needs and company directives
- Deliver training as required:
- Hours of Service, Electronic Logs, Dangerous Goods, Forklift, Brake Adjustments, Chain Application, Winter Driving, etc.
- Instruct EEMV and PDIC courses and conduct EEMV Road Tests
- Deliver in class and virtual Company Orientations
- Participate in safety initiatives and events  NAOSH, National Trucking Week, CVSA Road Check etc.
- Review and update training modules, generate new material and training methods as required.
- Demonstrate by example and share knowledge
- Provide constructive feedback
- Create a climate of confidence
- Be a role model in attitude and personal behaviour

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1A licence
- Excellent Abstract
- A minimum of 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience. EEMV driving experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate and instruct
- Superior communication and public relations skills
- Good knowledge of the trucking industry
- Knowledge of mechanical and airbrake systems, and equipment
- Understand National Safety Code Regulations and Department of Transport Regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a certified PDIC/EEMV instructor
- Previous experience as a dangerous goods instructor
- Previous experience in an educating and training environment
