Munchkin Mansion is a Childcare Facility operating 4 day homes in the city of Saskatoon. We provide care for children from 12 months to 6 yrs old (kindergarten). We are looking to hire full-time Early Childhood Educator. Related experience an asset. Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Some duties include but not limited to cleaning, organizing, sanitizing, documentation, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
Responsibilities and Duties
CANDIDATES MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH
Some duties include (but not limited to):
-Planning developmentally appropriate and stimulating activities in a play-based environment
-Participating in physical activities
-Encouraging child-led activities through carefully chosen equipment and toys
-Teaching children the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness towards all living things
-Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing
-Positively communicate with parents regarding their child and their progress.
-Meet and work collaboratively with the staff to cultivate strategic thinking about program effectiveness
-Discuss any major issues (possible abuse, behavior issues, hygiene etc.) regarding children with the staff before discussing with parents.
