The successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older, have current First Aid/CPR Level C training, and hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License. The successful candidate must also be a Saskatchewan certified ECE Level II or higher (or equivalent) and have AT LEAST one year of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare setting in Saskatchewan (ie: Floor Supervisor, Administrative Director, Assistant Director, Director)
The successful candidate will also be required to obtain Food Safety certification within the first three months of employment.
Job Description
The Supervisor, reporting to the Director, will work as a primary educator with the children as part of their daily responsibilities and duties but will also be responsible for making sure the Centre is operating according to Saskatchewan Child Care Regulations, as well as the Oxbow Community Childcare Centres policies and procedures, while the Director is absent due to holidays, sick days, etc.
The Supervisor position is a full time position (35-40 hours per week).

Requirements for Position
The successful candidate:
Must have good knowledge of Saskatchewan Child Care Regulations and abide by all standards in the Licensees Manual.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Saskatchewan licensed child care setting.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts (opening and closing when needed) and be flexible with their schedule to fill in as needed due to employee sick days, family emergencies, etc.
Must uphold all standards and policies of the Oxbow Community Childcare Centre.
Must be able to supervise educators in the absence of the Director and report any issues promptly to the Director as well as address issues as they arise.
Must be available after hours in case of emergency in the absence of the Director.
