Riverview Village Estates is currently looking for full time Activities Director to cover a Maternity leave; University Degree will be an asset and must have computer skills.
Job Description:
-Investigate functions and activities that will meet the needs of the residents and facilities (spiritually, physically, socially and mentally).
-Development and implementation of activities programs
-Will require to be trained in emergency procedures for operation (fire evacuation planning, fire sprinklers, alarm systems, emergency responses, etc.) and may be called on to assist in time of crisis
-Assist in resident evaluation through personal interaction, conversation and visiting care apartments and meeting residents.
-Preparation of Newsletter once a month
-Strategic planning with the General Manager
-Confidentiality is of utmost importance
