The Material Handler performs any combination of the following tasks, receive, retrieve, transfer, and/or store parts and material for manufacturing operations.
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday; 5:45 pm till 4:15 am.
Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Transport parts and material around the production plant as required
2. Sort weld assemblies, parts and stage in proper location in a timely fashion as per supervisor request
3. Identify and report any possible quality problems with parts
4. Counts inventory as required
5. May assist in expediting parts through the production process
6. Performs multiple visits daily to all areas ensuring materials needs are filled
7. Perform warehouse technician tasks as required to support the night shift.
Working Conditions
Must be capable of walking and standing for a complete shift
Lifting, carrying, pushing pulling up to 50 lbs
Education and Experience
Basic math and Computer entry skills
Good communications skills
