As a member of the CORE Industrial team, you commit to delivering outstanding quality and results that exceed client expectations. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Operator will be responsible for actively monitoring and troubleshooting issues with the conveyor belt line, in and around the headframe, as well as, at the transfer stations.
This position is based on a 7 days on and 7 days off shiftwork schedule and 12 hours/day; however, the candidate must be willing to work overtime.
Job Duties
Operate, maintain and assist with operating the conveyor belt line
Promote a healthy and positive safe working environment
Complete preventive maintenance checks on head frame and transfer stations
Actively participate in ensuring cleanliness at site
Report into work on time, fit for duty
Assist as needed with client emergencies
Any other duties as may be determined by your reporting manager
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have;
Industrial mining experience preferred
Minimum high school diploma
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills are required, verbal and written
Strong problem solving
This job is a located outside, with exposure to the elements (heat, sun, wind etc.)
Must be physical fit, significant walking and lifting
Ability to work at extreme heights
Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required
