Description

*Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, to protect our staff please call ahead if wishing to stop by the premises*
Reporting to the Foreman, the Groundman helps to ensure safe and efficient operations of the crushing operations to assure quality product is produced. W.F. Botkin is looking for an individual with strong work ethic and is ready and willing to do what it takes to help our projects succeed.

Job Duties:
-Assist with material production processes
-Assist with site set up and tear down
-Follow foreman direction on daily tasks and expectations of the project
-Prep construction sites by evaluating safety concerns and clearing / controlling hazards as they appear
-Operation of a skid steer as needed
-Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
-Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures on site
-Ready to learn on the job as needed
-Perform site clean up
-Miscellaneous duties as required


Requirements:

-Experience operating a skid steer or willingness to learn how to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
-Valid drivers license with the ability to get to and from site
-Ability to work out of town for extended periods of time
-Ability to perform strenuous, physical tasks on a daily basis
-High attention to detail with strong values rooted in health and safety
-Ability to work in a high paced environment with high physical demand
-Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Flexibility to work overtime as needed
-Steel-toe safety boots are required
