The Operations Director manages the overall administration and facility operations of the Thorpe Recovery Centre. This includes overseeing Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Food Services, Information Technology, Maintenance and Marketing Staff. As a member of the Senior Management Team, other duties include providing regular reports on the organization's progress to the CEO, monthly reports to the Board of Directors and participating in the development of Thorpe Recovery Centre priorities and objectives. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
5+ years senior leadership role Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance and employee management
Experience with budget and business plan development and monitoring financials.
Knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
Knowledge of federal and provincial payroll regulations and requirements.
Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll systems would be considered an asset.
General knowledge of equipment and facilities management.
Working knowledge of Information Technology infrastructure management.
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions. High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
