We are adding a Safety Specialist to our team!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Coordination and maintenance of the KeyLeaf Safety Program and Safety Manual
    Assist in the development and implementation of safe practices and procedures
    Maintain a knowledge and awareness of plant safety and fire prevention
    Instruct on safety topics in work related training sessions
    Develop and review safety training for staff
    Lead in the development and implementation of proactive safety programs
    Conducts and coordinates workplace inspections and reviews
    Create and implement interactive employee awareness programs
    Coordinates incident investigation reporting
    Provide a key role in the training and execution of all types of Job hazard Analysis

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
    A bachelors degree or diploma in a discipline such as food science, environmental studies, chemistry or health and safety is preferred
    CRSP designation is an asset
    A combination of education and experience may be considered
    Experience with ISO 14001/18001, 45001 is an asset
    Hands on experience with industrial hygiene and testing equipment such as MX6 multi gas readers, noise dosimeters etc.
    Experience with Lean or continuous improvement is an asset.
