The Academy is currently seeking passionate, professional, self-motivated, and reliable individuals to join our teaching staff! Applicants must have an extensive background in their chosen instrument. Formal schooling is an asset, but not a requirement for interview.
Previous teaching experience and/or experience working with children is not mandatory, but will be taken into account.
Specifically, we are seeking an individual who can (at minimum) teach two weekday evenings, 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Beyond that, scheduling is flexible and there is potential for more hours; the Academy runs lessons primarily after school hours on weekdays, and during the daytime on Saturdays. Potential to have up to six teaching days per week, if interested.
Piano proficiency is considered an asset. If you are strictly interested in instructing vocal students, we encourage you to still apply!
This position would begin in September 2020, following strict re-opening protocols in light of COVID-19.
Vulnerable sector criminal record check required for hire.
