Duties and Responsibilities
Manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
Responsible for the flawless execution of company policies and procedures
Administer and develop an effective strategy to increase sales and grow the business
Effectively and efficiently recruit, train and schedule employees
Resolve conflicts in all areas of the store
Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
Follow-up with employees to ensure tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
Ensure employees are assisting customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
A strong retail management background is a requirement
A minimum of 3 years of retail/grocery/inventory management experience
Experience and working knowledge of MS Office applications
Knowledge and understanding of store financial and operation reports
Proven leadership abilities
Positive attitude and a pleasant disposition
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Superior time-management skills
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, days and evenings Monday through Sunday as required by the business
