In close coordination with YWCA Childrens Housing Directors and the Human Resources Coordinator, Staff Coaches work frontline and are responsible for leading and coaching a team of Support Workers in providing a safe and nurturing home for children aged 0-12 on a 24-hour basis. Typically, the great majority of children we care for are of Indigenous ancestry. Often, children in these homes have experienced trauma in unsafe and unhealthy situations.

In particular, Staff Coaches will need to work closely with the Director of Kinship & Staff Development as well as other Staff Coaches on priorities established by the Childrens Housing Directors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Administration and Reporting
2) Program Implementation
3) House Maintenance
4) Engagement with Indigenous Communities and Culture
