RMD Engineering is a Custom Engineering and Manufacturing facility. Specializing in the design of fully automated systems and mechanical equipment. Our modernized manufacturing facility is in the East Cory Industrial area of Saskatoon. RMD currently has an opportunity for a Web/Database Developer/Videographer. This is a full time, permanent position.
We are looking for an experienced and creative Web Designer. The candidate will also have experience in Video editing and Database development. As a Web Designer you will conceptualize creative ideas, testing and improving the design of the website. Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices. As a Videographer at our company, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. You will also be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing databases.
Technical Skills Experience Required:
*5+ years of Web Design experience. BA/BS or similar degree.
Proficient in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Independent and can work well with minimal supervision.
*3 years of experience as Videographer of a similar role.
Experience using video and editing equipment.
Creative thinker.
*Experience in designing, implementing and managing databases.
A relevant diploma in related field.
*Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Proficient with organizing time, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
