POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Camecos AMPED-UP program is focused on the utilization of technology to improve work processes across our mining and milling operations. As the training coordinator for this program you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance in the development of the training strategy and direction in support of AMPED-UP projects and digital initiatives. This is a one-year temporary opportunity to make a great impact in a dynamic program.
You will develop new and update existing training programs in various areas impacted by the projects by utilizing Camecos Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). You will employ solid adult learning principles and consider the latest and leadingedge training technology and other digital solutions where practical and applicable. Duties include:
Review and identify all AMPED-UP projects to determine where training analysis, design and/or development will be required.
Research and propose applicable technology / digital solution(s) that can be used to design/develop/deliver training for all AMPED UP projects.
Develop a comprehensive and prioritized work plan to complete necessary training development by project conclusion. This will include resource estimation and technology infrastructure requirements.
Lead the SAT-based development of all mining division AMPED-UP projects.
Aid in the standardization of existing divisional training and related technology solutions.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in human resources, adult education or a related field
A minimum of eight years of experience in adult education or occupational training
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Experience utilizing technology in the development and delivery of learning
Strategic view of training within an organization
Willing to travel to Northern Saskatchewan locations approximately 20% of your time
