We are looking for a Production Planning Manager to join our team in our manufacturing facilities in Yorkton, SK for a full-time permanent position.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsible for leading the production planning department
    Creation and maintenance of an efficient production schedule to establish sequence and lead time to each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and orders, while maintaining targeted inventory levels
    Creation and release of work orders based on the production schedule
    Ensuring of a consistent handoff of planning information to the production department
    Monitoring and adjustment of production planning activities
    Identification and resolution of bottlenecks and capacity issues
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
    Technical training and extensive experience in manufacturing control, manufacturing processes and knowledge of metal fabrication industry
    Strong computer skills; general experience with ERP systems/planning software; experience with BAAN would be an asset
    Competence with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel experience strongly preferred
    Well versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them
    Advanced planning skills, well organized and results driven with strong problem-solving skills
    Excellent analytical, planning, organization and communication skills
