Horizon is currently recruiting for a Solution Architect to work onsite at our client in Regina for an approximately 10 11 month contract term.
The successful resource will participate in a SharePoint Upgrade project. This project will involve taking our existing on-premises SharePoint 2013 environment and migrating all of our servers onto a new hybrid environment. Our hybrid environment will be a mix of on-premises SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online in the Azure Cloud. The new environment will need to be designed and implemented. We will also need to migrate our existing SharePoint sites while ensuring they are tested and working in the new environment.
Required experience includes:
Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration or related equivalent
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF); or equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience as a Solution Architect in mid to complex information technology implementations
Experience fulfilling solution architect role on medium to large IT projects with a strong understanding of both the business needs and technology capability to deliver projects.
Experience with the following technologies would be an asset:
SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online and other cloud / hybrid solutions
