The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, is currently accepting applications for the position of Storekeeper located in La Ronge. Operational Response, Air Operations operates a fleet of seventeen aircrafts for wildfire suppression.

The position includes: generating purchase orders, purchasing aircraft parts from approved suppliers, maintaining a bonded stores room, maintaining traceability of past and future purchases, shipping and receiving aircraft parts, submitting invoices for payment, and keeping track of parts usage. You will work in a team atmosphere with other Storekeepers, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and a Production Manager, reporting to the Store Supervisor. Previous experience with Aircraft Maintenance Systems (AMS), aircraft maintenance management software and Purchasing Management Association of Canada certification and/or previous experience would be an asset.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of inventory management principles and practices and parts sourcing, purchasing and inventory storage systems. You will have the ability to find, purchase, maintain and organize inventory and input, update, edit and maintain information and data using various computer applications. You will be required to safely load and unload inventory from transport vehicles using equipment such as a forklift, front end loader and/or hyster
You must be in good physical condition in order to perform a variety of activities including lifting boxes weighing approximately 20 to 25 lbs when receiving parts. Occasional call outs and overtime may be required.
