Imagine Events is a small business under new growth and expansion in Saskatchewan. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic wedding planner and sales leader with passion for growing the business in their local area. If you are extroverted, professional, have a can-do attitude and are looking for a unique position to do casually while working a full-time job, or do on the side, this could be the position for you!
Job duties can include: research vendors, logistics planning and on-site execution/coordination of venue, vendors, budget creation and management, setup and teardown of event sites. The wedding planner is also responsible for sales and networking in their local area. Wedding planner will grow brand awareness, introduce services to wedding clients, and close new sales leads. Wedding Planner will generate new and profitable revenue streams. Sales consisting of networking, bridal tradeshows, networking with vendors, following up with potential leads is EXPECTED from wedding planner in order to grow business.
Casual Permanent Position for long term growth
Hours: Position is casual and is easily worked around a full-time job within reason. Wedding Planner will be expected to do an average of 10 weddings a year at varying times. Weddings take place on weekends Fri evening-Sun morning, or occasionally week days depending on type of job such as wedding setup on Fri during the day. Day of events can consist of long hours working 12-14 hour days standing, including tearing down events at 2am in the morning. Some out of area travel may be needed on a per-event basis.
Computer/internet access, valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation needed. Non-compete, non-discrimination policies in effect.
